Ta-rah, a dramatic cover! |
Part of writing a book is promoting it.
A big, big part.
If you thought editing was a challenge, just wait!
These are the first two pages of my Theo Paxstone promotion package. It was meant to capture the interest of book sellers, agents and publishers.
Did it work? Eh. Not as much as I would have liked, let's say that. So take from it what you will.
Indie publishing is a very crowded market, and it's harder than ever to get noticed. That's a natural consequence of the ease of self-publishing. Add AI into the mix, and people working diligently to game the Kindle system, and indie authors have their work cut out for them.
It's not a road for the faint of heart.
More later.
